Sprossenwand

The work Sprossenwand was realized for an exhibition during an artist-in-residence stay in Trondheim, Norway. The exhibition itself took place in a former gymnasium which formed a part of the residency’s building. The work is a site-specific installation that directly relates to the space and its special structure. Based on the question of the original use of space, the installation Sprossenwand focuses on those objects that may have been used in the room but are now missing, taking up the formal characteristics of wall bars and extending them by the use of light.
