Artist book: Not every minute contains 60 seconds
The Artist book Not every minute contains 60 seconds is an extension of the same-named screen printing series. Like the large-format screen prints, the book refers to the subject of time and the question of its measurability. In doing so, it examines our time system and the division into seconds on which it is based.
A fine grid of points extends over 200 pages. The total number of points is equal to the total number of seconds per year. The book thus enables a physical flipping through a year. In doing so, it refers to the systematization of time as well as to its dimension that often remains incomprehensible.
